Seth already had an awesome Specialized Tarmac, but after his wife purchased one of our custom Bridge Club builds, he had to get something to join her for some gravel touring adventures. He picked up this Salsa Marrakesh frameset, and brought us his old Shimano 105 drivetrain.
Because the Marrakesh needs a mountain crankset, we went with a Shimano Deore crank and front derailleur. We went with the Bontrager Affinity TLR wheelset and TRP brakes with some Specialized Pathfinder tires. Seat post, stem, and bars all come from Salsa, and the saddle is a Brooks to complete that classy look.
Seth eventually plans to get some Industry Nine wheels, Chris King Bottom bracket and headset, and a newer drivetrain, but this is an awesome start to get him out adventuring!
