New Stuff This Week

Working in a bike shop often means that every day is bike Xmas when the FedEx or UPS driver arrives. This week some cool stuff came in for personal projects some of the staff are working on.

The Enve SWP carbon bar and Wolf Tooth ring are both for Charlie. He's building up a new Cannondale Scalpel 29" to race on in 2015. The Enve carbon bar is one of the lightest and strongest mountain bars out there while the Wolf Tooth ring is particularly cool. Wolf Tooth's Drop-Stop rings allow for the use of a 1x10 or 1x11 setup without the extra weight of a chain guide. This particular ring is new for them and is designed to fit directly on Cannondale's SISL crank arms eliminating the chainring bolts and "spider" to save some extra weight. It also happens to look rad.

The Race Face bar is from their Atlas series and is in the limited edition "Kash Money" color. Race Face uses super strong 7050 heat-treated aluminum to create a stiff, strong, and wide bar designed to take abuse. It's going on a new Niner ROS-9 that Braden is building up this week.

The light is the Seca 2000 race from Light And Motion. 2000 lumens is something to behold on the trail when turned on. Perfect for any night ride now that the days are shorter. At just 343 grams it's light enough to run as a helmet or handlebar light depending on preference.

We're sure next week will bring more rad stuff as usual.
